Volunteer Training

Volunteer Training Schedule

Each Court Appointed Special Advocate completes extensive training prior to being assigned to a case and continues training as long as he/she is an active CASA.

Each person has been sworn in by the court and is specifically assigned to designated children in need of advocacy.  Advocates make a commitment of twelve to eighteen months or according to the circumstances of each case.

Prior to attending the following training sessions, volunteers must attend orientation.

Orientations in Visalia are held weekly on Thursdays from 12:00PM to 1:00PM

Orientations in Porterville are held by appointment only, currently.
